Question:
I need to buy a new pair of running
shoes, however I would like to go
somewhere where the people really
know what they are talking about.
I'm in the Indianapolis area, but
do get to Chicago fairly frequently,
so if anyone could recommend a good
shoe store (preferrably specializing
in running shoes) with employees
who know their stuff, I would appreciate
any advice.

Indianapolis has two good running
stores, Athletic Annex (in Nora)
and Runner's Forum (in Carmel).
I have had good luck at both, but
I think the folks at Runner's Forum
are a little friendlier, plus they
have a web page to help you get
there.
in Chicago
the place to go is Dick Pond in
Carrol Stream. THey are very knowledgable
and have been selling shoes for
runners longer than anyone in the
Chicago area.
