Running Shoes: Saucony Vs. Nike
Question:
I just traded in my old pair of Nike Zoom Air which I've had for 2 years. I usually run about 2-3 times per week 3-5k. I bought a pair of Saucony which had a feature called GTO. My main criteria for shoes is that I am a heavy guy (103kg) so I'm quite worried about my knees. Does any one know about these Saucony shoes? I am not fimilar with the brand and just want to make sure I have made a mistake.

Answer:
Saucony makes some very fine shoes and they're pretty popular in the USA. You
didn't mention the specific model you bought, so I can't really comment. I am heavy (for a runner) at 210 lbs. I have used Saucony shoes before and been very happy with them. If you choose the right model for your particular size and biomechanics and style of running, Saucony can be a very good choice. IMO though, Nike shoes are number one!
