New Balance Shoes For Flat Feet?
Question:
I have a question for all of the pros out there that I hope can be answered! I
need a new pair of running shoes, and was looking towards the New Balance
brand. Now, I have totally, 100% flat (and narrow) feet. I wear a womens size 9
(if that helps at all?). I need a really good pair of shoes because I do 4
miles, or more a day. Someone told me about New Balance, and although I love
the way they look, I want comfort more than that. Does anyone have any advice
for me on any brand of shoes?

Answer:
My feet are as flat as can be, and I like my New Balance 713's. I'm no shoe expert though, just sharing my experience. It's likely that you are an overpronator, due to having flat feet, like me, and you may want to be looking for motion control shoes.
NB makes the 761 (soon to be replaced w/the 762) and the 853 (which recently replaced the 852) - both are supposed to be good for motion control. Also Brooks makes the Addiction IV. I get this info from Road Runner Sports catalog, they also have a web site with lots of info. Also your local running shoe store (not Foot Locker!) should be able to give you good advice.
